The Amaravati Integrated Urban Development Program, worth $800 million, has been approved by the World Bank's Board of Executive Directors to construct Amaravati, the greenfield capital of Andhra Pradesh.

The loan has a maturity period of 29 years, including a six-year grace period. The World Bank added that the government has decided to avail the loan amount in Japanese Yen.
