Telugu Desam Party MP Byreddy Shabari alleged corruption charges on Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party's former government in Andra Pradesh. She also said under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, the state will progress immensely.
Former Congress governments were criticised by Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan, alias Lalan Singh, for abusing Article 356 and overthrowing state governments to remain in power.

He concluded his remarks by saying he hoped that the government would not try to change the essence of the Constitution.
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made an inaugural speech in Lok Sabha noting, that our independence struggle was a unique one in the world, which was based on truth and non-violence, calling it a very ‘democratic’ movement, including farmers, soldiers, workers, intellectuals no matter what caste or religion or what language they spoke. She also accused the BJP of tampering with the spirit of the constitution to buy off opposition politicians in multiple states.
Senior BJP Leader Rajnath Singh (Defence Minister) highlighted that various leaders' participation in the Constitution's construction was purposely neglected and hit out at the Congress party, noting that a single party always tried to "hijack and appropriate" the framing of the Constitution.
The Defence Minister initiated the debate in the Lok Sabha as the House took up a two-day 'Discussion on the glorious journey of 75 years of the Constitution of India'.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar urged Opposition leaders to meet him in his chamber for discussions amid the no-confidence motion. Dhankhar expressed personal disappointment over continuous complaints against him, stressing the need for constitutional dialogue. The House was adjourned until Monday, after ongoing protests.
