The Lok Sabha (Lower House), which reconvened at 3:00 p.m., was adjourned minutes later following protests. Officiating Chair Sandhya Ray struggled to regain order and was unable to allow Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw to respond to the Railways Bill. Proceedings in the lower house will resume at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

Proceedings in the Lok Sabha resumed at 2 p.m. after two adjournments with Member of Parliament (MP) Sandhya Ray in the Chair. The House took up The Railways (Amendment) Bill, 2024 for consideration and passing. Rajya Sabha

Rajya Sabha (Upper House) proceedings, which resumed at 3:00 p.m., were marred by loud sloganeering from both Treasury and Opposition benches, preventing Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar from addressing the House. Despite attempts, he was unable to proceed with discussions and announced a meeting with Treasury and Opposition leaders tomorrow morning. Proceedings were adjourned, with a scheduled resumption at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

Protests also erupted in the Rajya Sabha as it assembled at 2 p.m. Leader of the House JP Nadda raised the issue of alleged links between Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and the George Soros Foundation. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned until 3 p.m., with the Chairman inviting Nadda and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to resolve the impasse.

The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 p.m. after members exchanged accusations regarding billionaire George Soros, with the BJP linking him to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. Despite the Chairman's efforts to continue with the agenda, the session was disrupted as members resorted to sloganeering.
