The Lok Sabha (Lower House) was adjourned for the day on Friday following a heated exchange after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey accused Congress of having links with US-based billionaire George Soros. United Democratic Front (UDF) Member of Parliament Abdul Wahab opened with a speech on the high pendency of judicial cases. However, ongoing protests hindered the smooth running of the House. Despite efforts to pacify the protesting members, the Deputy Chairman adjourned the session.
