The White House has expressed confidence in managing the US-India relationship amid bribery allegations against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. US prosecutors have charged Adani with involvement in a scheme to pay over $250 million (approximately ₹2,100 crore) in bribes to Indian officials for favourable solar power contracts. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the US-India partnership remains anchored in strong ties and global cooperation. She deferred further comments on the charges to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Justice (DOJ).
