British telecom firm Vodafone has sold its entire 3% stake in Indus Towers for ₹2,800 crore ($337 million). The sale involved 7.92 crore shares, with ₹890 crore ($107 million) used to settle lender dues, the company said in a regulatory filing.

"Vodafone Group Plc announces that it has successfully completed the placing of its remaining 79.2 million shares in Indus Towers Limited ("Indus") representing 3.0 per cent of Indus' outstanding share capital through an accelerated book build offering on 5 December 2024," the filing said.

Vodafone's stake was held through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Omega Telecom Holdings Private Limited and Usha Martin Telematics Limited. Additionally, Vodafone Idea utilised part of the funds to clear pending Master Service Agreement dues with Indus Towers.
