Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met Japan’s Gen Nakatani and the Philippines’ Gilberto Teodoro in Vientiane, Lao PDR, discussing defence technology, co-production, and interoperability.

Singh and Nakatani explored expanding military exercises and cooperation in air defence, following the recent signing of the UNICORN mast implementation memorandum. With the Philippines, Singh discussed strengthening ties in defence, counter-terrorism, space, and maritime domains.
