Retail inflation in November falls to 5.48%

India's retail inflation moderated to 5.48% in November, down from October's 6%. Food inflation, which comprises around half of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) basket, eased to 9.04% from 10.87% in October. Rural inflation rose to 9.10%, while urban inflation increased to 8.74%.
