Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, party parliamentary chairperson Sonia Gandhi, and other dignitaries attended a memorial service at former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's residence on Friday. The 'Akhand Path' ceremony, a continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, honoured Singh’s legacy. Former vice-president Hamid Ansari and Singh’s family were also present. Singh, who passed away at 92, is remembered for leading economic reforms during his 2004-2014 tenure.
