Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana starting November 16, marking significant diplomatic engagements across these regions, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced. At the invitation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, PM Modi will visit Nigeria on November 16-17, the first Indian prime ministerial visit in 17 years, focusing on strategic and economic ties. With more than 200 Indian companies investing over $27 billion in Nigeria, India and Nigeria share strong economic, energy, and defence ties. PM Modi will then attend the G20 Summit in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, from November 18-19, where he will contribute to global discussions as part of the G20 Troika. His tour concludes in Guyana from November 19-21, where he will meet with President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali and attend the Second Caribbean Community (CARICOM)-India Summit, marking the first Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Guyana since 1968.
