Parliament Adjourned over Sambhal Violence and Adani Allegations

Both houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day following opposition protests over allegations of irregularities against the Adani Group and violence in Sambhal.

In the Lok Sabha, proceedings were disrupted during Question Hour and later adjourned after opposition members raised slogans demanding discussions.

The Rajya Sabha was similarly disrupted, with the Chairman rejecting 18 notices to suspend scheduled business for a joint parliamentary committee probe into the Adani issue.
