The Rajya Sabha (Council of States, upper house) Chair rejected 18 adjournment motions, leading to a walkout and adjournment for the day. In the Lok Sabha (House of the People, lower house), Speaker Om Birla's appeal for order failed as Opposition MPs demanded a debate on the Adani case. Congress MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, called for Adani’s arrest, dismissing the company’s denial of charges. Parliament is scheduled to reconvene on Thursday.
