On October 20, 25 hoax bomb threat calls were made to various Indian airlines. Six flights each of IndiGo, Vistara, Air India and Akasa Air, and at least one flight of Air India Express received the threats.

This comes after 30 hoax calls were made on October 19. More than 100 such hoax calls have been made to Indian airlines in just a week.

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, said that rules are being amended to put people who make such calls on the no-fly list.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has already directed the Ministry of Civil Aviation to compile a report regarding these bomb threats earlier this week.
