Billionaire philanthropist Laurene Jobs, widow of Steve Jobs, reached the Ashram of Swami Kailashnand Giri, the head of congregation of Hindu monks called the Niranjini Akhara, in Prayagraj on Saturday.

She will attend the first three days at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, after which she will be travelling to the US for Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony.

Laurene arrived in Prayagraj on Saturday evening with her 40-person crew. On Sunday noon, she made her way into the Maha Kumbh Mela region. According to Hindustan Times, she will take the ritual dip at the Sangam on January 14.

“On the first Amrit Snan on Jan 14, ‘Kamla’ (a name given to her by her guru) will be behind my chariot along with Swami Vyasanand Giri, who was anointed as Mahamandaleshwar on Sunday evening, and that would be the first Sangam bath of Kamla at Prayagraj” - Kailashanand Giri

Upon her arrival, she was served hot masala tea in Kulhad and a traditional Indian lunch. Laurene wore a peach-yellow salwar suit with a ‘Rakshasutra’ (kalava) on her right arm and a ‘rudraksh mala’ on her neck.
