Justice Sanjiv Khanna Sworn In as New Chief Justice of India

Justice Sanjiv Khanna took the oath as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India, administered by President Droupadi Murmu. He succeeds Justice Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud. Justice Khanna, with over four decades of legal experience in fields such as constitutional and commercial law, will serve a brief term until May 2025.
