Shares of ITC Limited were adjusted by ₹26 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and ₹27 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after a special pre-open session marking the demerger of ITC Hotels, reports The Economic Times. ITC shareholders will receive one ITC Hotels share for every 10 ITC shares, with ITC retaining a 40% stake in the new entity. ITC Hotels shares, currently assigned a dummy ticker, are expected to list by mid-February after regulatory approvals.
