Prime Minister Narendra Modi has celebrated India’s strong economic performance, highlighting the country’s projected top ranking among the fastest-growing major economies in 2024. According to the July 2024 World Economic Outlook update from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India’s real GDP is expected to grow by 7%, outpacing the U.S. and China, which are forecasted to grow at 2.6% and 5%.
