Congress and BJP Clash Over Manmohan's Ash Immersion, Rahul's New Year bash
Replying to the BJP's comments on senior Congress leaders remaining absent during the final immersion-of-ashes rites of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the Congress claimed that senior party officials did not join the family "out of our deference to the privacy of the family."
BJP also claimed that Rahul Gandhi "exploited" Singh's death for his "expedient politics", but soon flew to Vietnam to celebrate the New Year.
