China Warns India Against Growing Ties With Taiwan

Following the opening of a second Taiwan de facto consulate in Mumbai, China advised India to handle Taiwan issues with caution and avoid interference in the improvement of Sino-India relations. Mao Ning, a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, stated that China is against any efforts by any of its allies to establish formal links with Taiwan.
