On December 2, the Government and Opposition agreed to hold a discussion on the Constitution in both Houses, breaking the more than week-long impasse in Parliament. The ruling party did not consent to any debate on the Adani indictment subject, but they did agree to allow other topics to be brought up during Zero Hour, such as the violence in Sambhal and the situation in Bangladesh.

The debates will be held on December 13 and 14 in the Lok Sabha, and on December 16 and 17 in the Rajya Sabha.
